About Las Vegas Quicksilvers soccer club
Who We Are
We are Las Vegas Quicksilvers Soccer Club from Las Vegas, Nevada. We are founding members of the Southwest Premier League and will compete in the Nevada Premier conference for the Fall 2021 season.
What is the southwest premier league?
The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) is a regional amateur soccer league situated in the South-Western United States. SWPL is affiliated with the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). For more information about the SWPL, NISA Nation, and and our big announcement, check out southwestpremier.org
Why “Quicksilvers”?
As Las Vegas natives, our founders never had a professional soccer team to support. The NASL Las Vegas Quicksilvers folded in ’78, decades before we were born. It was a blip in Vegas history but the “what-ifs” of the Quicksilvers captured our imagination. So when we set out to build a Vegas club that we could support proudly, the choice was obvious— if we wanted to see the Quicksilvers come back to life, we needed to do it ourselves.
Where do we play homegames?
